Adopt a coin

By adopting a coin, you support the documentation of the coin finds in the online catalogue and their scientific documentation. You may select any number of objects starting from 25 euros each from those online. If you would like your coin adoption to be applied to specific objects or groups, please contact us.

For German residents, your donation is tax-deductible. For amounts up to 200 euros a transfer voucher will be accepted by the Tax and Revenue Office. For larger donations, the Commission for Ancient History and Epigraphy will be pleased to issue a receipt.

If you would like, your name will be added to the object entry in the Online Catalogue.

Donation

Your donation is used exclusively for the ongoing documentation of the coin finds on site in Greece and their online publication. The scientific documentation will be carried out by staff of the Commission for Ancient History and Epigraphy.

Where possible, student and research assistants will be involved in this work. So by adopting a coin, you would also be encouraging future generations of numismatists currently in training by providing an opportunity to deepen their studies of particular objects.
